Instead, we lease capacity from several established infrastructure providers in Europe and choose the foundation that best suits each application. This allows you to benefit from the strengths of various platforms without having to worry about contracts, servers, or networks: operation, updates, and support all come from a single source.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Multiple Providers, One Point of Contact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not have expensive hardware sitting in a basement that needs to pay for itself \u2013 and therefore, we have no reason to place your application on a specific server just because it is already there. We lease capacity where it currently offers the best balance of price and quality for your application: affordable, yet with providers offering solid technology and certified data centers. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No single provider is the best for everything. One may excel in flexible cloud solutions, while another is stronger in dedicated hardware or a secure private cloud. Because we are not tied to any single provider, we weigh price, performance, and security for each application individually. If an offering becomes more expensive or lower in quality, we migrate \u2013 without you even noticing.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You also benefit from this: no vendor lock-in. Your application is not dependent on a specific data center or a proprietary platform; instead, it runs as open source on standard infrastructure \u2013 and can be moved at any time. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, we primarily rely on OVHcloud and Hetzner.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Infrastructures<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OpenStack \u2013 Public Cloud.<\/strong> Virtual servers on the open cloud platform OpenStack. Your application receives its own guaranteed resources (CPU, RAM, storage), which can be quickly scaled up if needed. The flexible standard choice for most managed applications.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VMware vSphere \u2013 Private Cloud.<\/strong> Virtualization on hardware reserved exclusively for us. You do not share resources with any other customers of the provider, and the network and storage are isolated. The right choice when isolation, predictable performance, or specific compliance requirements are the priority.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dedicated Server \u2013 Bare Metal.<\/strong> Physical servers without a virtualization layer. The full performance of the hardware is available to a single application \u2013 ideal for consistently high, steady resource requirements, such as for large databases or compute-intensive services. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shared Hosting.<\/strong> Multiple websites and applications share a jointly managed environment \u2013 the economical solution for moderate requirements. Even here, there is no low-end infrastructure: depending on the environment, our shared hosting runs on OpenStack, dedicated bare-metal hardware, or VMware. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasweb.cloud\/en\/technology\/infrastructure\/hosting\/\">More about hosting models \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complex Environments on Request<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some projects require more than a single server. For these, we assemble customized environments: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clusters<\/strong> \u2013 multiple servers that share the workload or provide mutual backup, for example for<br\/>high availability, load balancing, or replicated databases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kubernetes<\/strong> \u2013 container orchestration for applications consisting of many services or<br\/>those that need to scale automatically based on load.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contact us \u2013 we will plan the environment with you and subsequently handle the operations.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Data Centers and Security<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All providers operate their data centers in Europe and work according to ISO 27001; the private cloud at OVHcloud additionally complies with SOC 1 and SOC 2.
