Frequently asked questions
Update management for Composer-based applications
SaaS Web provides its own Git repository, which serves as a central interface between your code and the live system. Deployment runs in both directions through it: we use it to implement changes on our part – for example, to the composer.lock – and you push new code through it, which we then deploy.
You continue to use your existing repository (e.g., GitHub) as usual; the SaaS Web repository is added as an additional remote.
How are backups, restores, and data protection handled?
There are daily backups of the database and assets (configurable retention period). Test restores are possible. Traffic is encrypted via TLS; data is located in the EU and is backed up “at rest.” You will receive a data processing agreement (DPA) – GDPR-compliant.
How do you ensure performance and scaling?
We combine PHP OPcache, Redis (caches/sessions), image transforms via Imagick, queue workers (Craft Queue/Supervisor), and optional CDN. As the load grows, we scale horizontally (separate DB, object storage for assets, additional app nodes). Monitoring, alerting, and tuning (FPM/DB/Redis) are included.
