Data centers that meet your requirements
The best software is of little use if the underlying foundation is not right. That is why we operate all hosted applications exclusively in certified data centers in Europe – with clear standards for security, availability, and data protection.
Our certified data center partners
We rely on the data centers of OVHcloud and Hetzner, two of Europe’s most established infrastructure providers. Both providers operate their locations according to ISO 27001 – the internationally recognized standard for information security management. This means: documented security processes, regular audits, and a continuous improvement process that goes far beyond physical access controls.
Depending on the chosen hosting architecture – particularly with Private Cloud solutions at OVH – the SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards are also applied. These certifications are particularly relevant if your organization must meet requirements for internal controls (such as in a financial or compliance context) or if customers or partners request such proof.
Why this matters to you
Certification is not an end in itself. Specifically, it means:
- Physical security: Access controls, video surveillance, and redundant power supplies are the standard, not the exception.
- Traceability: Processes are documented and regularly audited externally.
- Basis of trust: You can use these certifications for your own customers or auditors without having to provide them yourself.
Hosting Architectures: The right foundation for every requirement
Not every application needs the same infrastructure. We distinguish between several architectural levels during implementation so that you pay for neither too much nor too little infrastructure.
Shared resource models are suitable for applications with moderate traffic and manageable isolation requirements – here, several services share a common server base, which reduces costs without compromising stability.
Dedicated instances are used when an application requires its own resources, its own scaling logic, or strict separation from other workloads – for example, with higher data volumes or special compliance requirements.
Private Cloud architectures (available at OVH) go one step further: the underlying hardware is reserved exclusively for one customer and is not shared with others. This is the basis on which the SOC 1/SOC 2 certifications are built, and it is particularly suitable for organizations with high requirements for data isolation.
Which model makes sense for you depends on the use case, number of users, and regulatory requirements – we will advise you individually.
Network Connectivity & Performance
Infrastructure is more than the server itself – the connectivity determines the actual experience of your users.
Bandwidth with reserves
Our locations at OVH are connected with 10 Gbit/s. This creates a buffer for load peaks and ensures that data transfer does not become a bottleneck – and the connection can be specifically expanded further if your project grows.
CDN for global reach
For applications where loading times and latency play a special role – such as publicly accessible websites, image or video content – we use a Content Delivery Network as a supplement if required, for example Bunny CDN. This distributes static content via a worldwide network of delivery nodes, so that users experience short loading times regardless of their location – without losing data sovereignty over your core infrastructure.
All together: Infrastructure that thinks ahead
Certified data centers, suitable architectural models, and high-performance connectivity – these three levels interlock with us. The result: hosted applications that run reliably, are securely protected in a traceable manner, and adapt to your actual requirements, rather than the other way around.
