Can I reach people on Mastodon with Pixelfed?
Yes. Pixelfed is part of the Fediverse and uses ActivityPub. Anyone on Mastodon or another Fediverse platform can follow your Pixelfed account, like and comment on your posts – without needing a Pixelfed account themselves.
What happens if photo storage runs low?
Photos and videos are stored in Object Storage, which scales with your needs. The plan includes 50 GB (Standard) or 100 GB (Premium). Additional storage is billed hourly – approximately €1.30 per 100 GB per month plus outbound traffic. No plan change is required for this.
