More about TYPO3
TYPO3 is known as an enterprise CMS primarily used for high-traffic websites. TYPO3 is continuously developed by a large community – currently, TYPO3 ranks among the top 10 most used CMS worldwide; TYPO3 is particularly widespread in Germany. As a professional Content Management System, TYPO3 comes with its own scripting language, TypoScript, which is used to program templates and extensions.
Flexible Content Models & Templating (Fluid/TypoScript)
Cleanly separates presentation and logic. Individual content types, layouts, and partials allow for precisely tailored page structures. Suitable for corporate websites to portals, with consistent reuse and update-proof implementations.
Multisite & Multilingualism
Manages multiple websites and languages in one installation. Includes translation workflows, fallback logic, country-specific settings, and domain routing. Ideal for international brands, associations, and municipal portals with complex structures.
Workflows, Workspaces & Versioning
Provides staging areas, approval processes, and seamless versioning. Changes are prepared for review, compared, and reverted if necessary. Ensures quality assurance and auditable editorial processes.
Permission Management & Roles
Fine-grained access for pages, content, datasets, and modules. Roles, groups, and permissions enable clear responsibilities in large teams. Minimizes editorial errors and strengthens security and compliance.
Site Management & Routing
Central site configuration for domains, languages, URL schemes, and redirects. Readable, stable routes and consistent behavior across all instances. Facilitates operation, migration, and multi-tenancy.
Headless & Integrations (APIs/Composer)
Offers headless setups via REST/GraphQL extensions, webhooks, and clean Composer dependencies. Robust integration with third-party systems (PIM, DAM, CRM) is achievable. Supports modular architectures and omnichannel delivery.
Caching & Performance
Multi-level caching (page/fragment cache), efficient rendering pipelines, and reverse proxy compatibility. Minimizes server load and latency, while remaining dynamic. Suitable for traffic peaks and large content inventories.
File Abstraction Layer (FAL) & Media Management
Unified file management with metadata, variants, and storage backends (local, S3, CDN). Media are versionable, referenceable, and consistently integrated. Simplifies editing and downstream optimizations.
Form Framework
Graphical form builder with validations, states, and mail/DB integration. Forms are reusable, versionable, and extensible. Supports data protection and process requirements without external dependencies.
SEO & Structured Data
Clean URL strategies, metadata, sitemaps, canonicals, and Open Graph. Optional Schema.org markups and redirect management. Increases visibility, click-through rate, and consistency in search engines and social networks.

Frequently asked questions
Can an existing TYPO3 website be migrated to you?
Yes. We require a complete backup including the database, which we will set up on one of our servers. After ensuring everything is in order, the DNS will be adjusted, and the site will go live.
Does the hosting support multisite, staging, and modern deployments?
Yes. Multidomain/multisite setups, staging/preview environments, and deployments via Git/CI and Composer 2 are supported. SSH, OPcache, Redis caching, image processing (Imagick), and optional CDN/proxy integration are available for high performance and clean rollbacks.
Do you also offer major updates?
Yes. Major updates are implemented as a separate project: pre-analysis (extensions, deprecations, PHP/DB compatibility), upgrade plan, staging migration with tests, content freeze/editorial briefing if necessary, and secure go-live with rollback option. Followed by fine-tuning/acceptance; a flat-rate offer is available upon request after pre-analysis.
