We reliably operate your mail stack with Postfix (SMTP) and Dovecot (IMAP/POP3) – including TLS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, rspamd spam protection, monitoring, and backups. Postfix (since 1998, Wietse Venema) and Dovecot (since 2002, Timo Sirainen) are among the most stable open-source projects in their class.
In addition, we provide SOGo Groupware (webmail, calendar, contacts, tasks) with CalDAV/CardDAV/ActiveSync – originally from Inverse (Montreal), commercially maintained by Alinto since 2022.
Frequently asked questions
Does SOGo work with Outlook, iPhone, and Android?
Yes. You can retrieve emails via IMAP, and calendars and contacts synchronize via CalDAV and CardDAV. Outlook as well as iOS and Android devices connect via ActiveSync including push; Apple Mail and Thunderbird also work. When on the go without your own device, you can use the webmail in your browser.
How do you protect against spam – and will my emails arrive safely?
Incoming emails are checked by rspamd, with quarantine as well as black and whitelisting, optionally supplemented by a virus scanner. For sending, we set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for your domain and encrypt the connections via TLS. This significantly improves the deliverability of your emails.
Can I migrate my existing mailboxes to you?
Yes. We migrate mailboxes via IMAP synchronization, and calendars and contacts via export and import. We will work with you to update the DNS entries (MX, SPF, DKIM) so that the transition succeeds without any loss of mail.
